We’re 36 months out from ECOF 2023 in Palm Springs, California, where your trusty Los Angeles SubERBs
(and sundry movers and shakers in the Burroughsian realm)
stepped up and raised the funds to get Ed (a one-time resident of the desert city with second wife Florence)
a Golden Palm Star on the famed Walk of the Stars.

Today, the SubERBs crew, consisting of Ahmed Khocht, Tim Clark, Patrick Quilter, Rob Olsen,
Dan Stephens, Billy York, Tracy Ellis, James Van Hise, Scott Tracy Griffin and Lisa Gordon Wither
gathered in Palm Springs to check out the Star and catch up
(missing were Pat Taulbee Olsen, Christopher Olsen, Bonnie H. York,
and Nivien Khocht, all of whom were major contributors in making ECOF 2023 a success.)
