I have had a couple of comments come back to me stating that they will feel uncomfortable going through someone else’s collection, picking over what they do and do not want and for that reason may not attend. This is understandable as I have felt it myself while cataloguing as much as I could. However, at the end of the day, Doreen would like to dispose of the collection as quickly as possible and this is her wish. Book dealers would have no such sentiments and it is for this reason why it is being offered to you first. 

I hope everyone has now had a chance to go through the listing. Obviously there may be occasions that more than one person will want a certain item, but this is going to be a first come, first served basis and any rivalry for items should be resolved in a friendly manner. 

For those that have been to Frank’s house before, will know just how small his bookroom really is. It has been difficult task just by myself getting access to everything. So to make everything be as accessible as possible, comics and fanzines will be in one room downstairs, paperbacks will be in the second downstairs room, and the remainder will be left in the bookroom.
