10:00 – 11:00 Edgar Rice Burroughs: Tarzan, Carson of Venus, and the Next 100 Years of Adventure
Join Jim Sullos (President, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Incorporated), Scott Tracy Griffin (Tarzan: The Centennial Celebration), Andy Briggs (Tarzan: The Savage Lands), Martin Powell (Carson of Venus), Steven E. Gordon (The Eternal Savage), and Diana Leto (The Cave Girl) as they discuss the future of the Burroughs universe online, on the page, and in theaters. Panel attendees can enter a drawing to win signed original art at the panel's conclusion. Room 28DE
Special Attractions
Edgar Rice Burroughs' great granddaughters, Dejah and Llana Jane -- along with their mother, Linda Burroughs, will also be part of the ERB contingent. Since it is the 100th anniversary of ERB's "Cave Girl" character, a special attraction will be Llana Jane appearing in Cave Girl costume. 

Diana Leto, the artist for "The Cave Girl" has created an original art piece that will be signed and given away at the conclusion of the panel.

Panelist Bios
James J. Sullos Jr. is the President of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc., owner of the copyrights and trademarks related to the literary creations of Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875-1950). He assumed that office in 2008, having previously served as Vice President and a member of the Board since 1994. Prior to that he served as the outside accountant for the company. His responsibilities involve negotiating contracts and licenses including the “John Carter” movie with Walt Disney Pictures, “Tarzan 3D” animation film with Constantin Film, the award winning Tarzan Video Slot machines with Aristocrat Technologies and the all-new Edgar Rice Burroughs On-Line Comic Strip Series. 
Scott Tracy Griffin is the author of Tarzan: The Centennial Celebration (Titan Books, 2012), the only authorized commemorative visual history of American author Edgar Rice Burroughs' famed ape man. Tarzan: The Centennial Celebration is a 2013 Locus Award finalist in the Art Book category. Throughout his 20-year writing career, Griffin’s work has been featured in multiple publications, among them Cinefantastique, FilmFax, and Femme Fatale, and includes a story arc for United Feature's Tarzan Sunday comic strip. He has served as a consultant and interview subject for numerous documentaries, including “Tarzan: The Legacy of Edgar Rice Burroughs” (1996); “Investigating Tarzan” (1997); “In Search of Tarzan” (1999); “Tarzan: Silver Screen King of the Jungle” (2004); and “Tarzan, Lord of the Louisiana Jungle” (2012).
Andy Briggs is a screenwriter, graphic novelist, author and conservationist - writing on movie projects such as “Judge Dredd” and “Freddy vs. Jason” and “Foreverman” for Spiderman creator Stan Lee and legendary producer Robert Evans. His latest feature film (which he wrote and Executive Produced) – “Legendary”, starring Scott Adkins and Dolph Lungdren, is out later this year. Andy went on to work on Warner Bros. “Aquaman” - while at the same time landing an eight-book deal with Oxford University Press for Hero.com and Villain.net. His graphic novels include Kong: King of Skull Island, Ritual and Dincocorps. He has rebooted the classic character Tarzan, with his new books Tarzan: The Greystoke Legacy, Tarzan: The Jungle Warrior, and Tarzan: The Savage Lands.
Martin Powell has written hundreds of stories in numerous genres, for Disney, Marvel, DC, and Sequential Pulp/Dark Horse Comics, among others.  Nominated for the prestigious Eisner Award for his work with Sherlock Holmes, he has scripted some of the most popular characters in the industry, including Superman, Batman, Popeye the Sailor, Tarzan of the Apes, and is currently the author of the online weekly comic strips Carson of Venus, The Eternal Savage, The War Chief, and The Cave Girl (celebrating its 100th anniversary July 2013) for Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc.  He's also the author of many children’s books, and is co-creator of the acclaimed Halloween Legion, with illustrator Diana Leto.
Steven E. Gordon has been a professional artist for more than 35 years, working mostly in the animation business. His accomplishments include Character Designer and Supervising Animator on the Ralph Bakshi/Frank Frazetta feature film “Fire and Ice”, Character Designer and Director on “X-Men: Evolution” as well as “The Ultimate Avengers”, and as illustrator on many children’s Superhero books for HarperCollins and other publishers. Steven also has a professional connection to Edgar Rice Burroughs as a storyboard artist on Disney’s “Legend of Tarzan” television series and several direct-to-video sequels. His latest project is The Eternal Savage.
Diana Leto is the artist for the Edgar Rice Burroughs Sunday comic strips Carson of Venus and The Cave Girl (celebrating its 100th anniversary July 2013). As a professional illustrator for more than a decade, she has illuminated projects at institutions including The Jim Henson Legacy, Sesame Street, Sequential Pulp/Dark Horse Comics, and more. She is co-creator and illustrator of The Halloween Legion, a critically acclaimed all-ages adventure series scheduled to release in October 2013 by Sequential Pulp/Dark Horse Comics.
