OPEN LETTER TO ERB FANS & ERBzine READERS

Over the last two years, no editor has been willing to look at JATORA.
The pile of stock rejections mounts.
Even my agent has grown dumbfounded -- as he signed on with the high expectations.

My mission is to prove to some publisher somewhere that a market exists for Jatora.
Failing that, at least bring JATORA to the world of the Burroughs devotee.
My tribute to the Master of Adventure.

If you would like to help my cause, and read more,
send an e-mail to hillmans@westman.wave.ca and tell Bill:

"I have read the first four chapters of Jatora; please publish more.
I want to see Jatora in print!"

Comments and communications are invited.
I hold any and all opinions in high regard.

Sincerely,

Michael Alan Wexler

Mr. Bill Hillman
ERBzine
Dear Bill,

Asking for my personal Bio struck me oddly incongruent. I did not write JATORA, Gray Allen did. Nor is it my intention to become anyone’s Dr. Watson. The role of amanuensis I leave to the better-educated, more gifted scholars of the literary world. I am just a friend whose love of the best fantasy writer of all times lead him to a remarkable personal discovery.

So, forget about me. Follow Gray Allen on his wild journey across Jatora. Be the eyes and the ears of Edgar Rice Burroughs. And when next you stand beneath a bold and starry sky, dreaming of love, adventure, and worlds to believe in, think of him. He will be there. Close as your imagination.

Sincerely,
Michael Alan Wexler
