Meet Artist, Writer and Graphics Designer
DANIEL PALANT

Daniel Palant
Daniel Palant, married and father of two children, was born in Israel and is living in Tel Aviv.

As a child he had a great talent for painting and later also discovered a writing talent. This combination brought him to the ''comics'' and at the age of 19, in the sixties of last century, he began to publish his comics stories in a children's magazine called ''Our Counry''.

In this magazine Daniel wrote and drew dozen comics stories and illustrated series (including the two Tarzan comics), but four years later he had to leave the magazine for economic reasons and become a graphic artist.

In his new profession Daniel produced hundreds of graphics works in various fields -- all handwork and obviously done without the help of a computer.

Daniel also wrote three books for youth, two of which were decorated with his own illustrations. The last one (''The Vampire's Horror'') was published in 2013.

In the later years of his career Daniel formed the ''ElAl'' company where he worked as a graphic designer and director of the printing house.

Now Daniel is retired, but still continues to write and create.
