Larry Ivie's Monsters and Heroes specialized in fantasy/SF art and comics by some of the top up-and-coming artists of the day -- much of it by Ivie himself -- and articles on monster movies, superheroes, serials and adventure movies. Ivie painted all seven of the series covers, but of special interest to Edgar Rice Burroughs fans were the back covers. Each back cover featured an alternate design for an ERB title: The Son of Tarzan, The Monster Men, Tarzan of the Apes, I Am A Barbarian, At the Earth's Core, A Princess of Mars, and Warlord of Mars. All front and back covers are included on this page and each may be clicked to see full screen versions. |
