Veteran Performers
BOB and BECKY HIBBARD
Enthralled the audience with their vocals and comedy bits.

Bob Hibbard passed out songsheets for the diners to sing along with his rich voice.
This was followed by a hilarious skit by Becky Hibbard -
a very different take on the Patsy Cline classic: "She's Got You".

Jim Goodwin and Ray LeBeau
were next on the agenda with a comedy puppet bit.

Ray prepares to take the stage while Ray's wife Shirley,
Sue-On, Becky and the ERB, Inc. table look on.

Bob and Becky were joined by Frank Grainger.
The Three Texicans
did a comedy interpretation of one of ERB's Western poems.

The Guest Speaker was well-known, award-winning Texas author
Joe Lansdale
Joe recounted anecdotes of how he was influenced by Edgar Rice Burroughs.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to
JOE LUKES
Lifetime Burroughs fan and researcher from Canada.
Presenting the award was Joan Bledig - Burroughs Bibliophiles President.

Jim recognized the other ECOF committee members in the audience:

Buddy Saunders, Jim Gerlach, Bob Hibbard, Frank Grainger and Rick Barry

The dinner concluded with an informal mingling session
before the return to the Marriott for Day 2 of the Film Festival.
This was a good time for photo ops.
